At your chosen time we collect you from your hotel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle.

The harbour

The main harbour, where the parasailing boat departs from, is located in the Old Town area. The drive to the harbour from any Sharm El Sheikh hotel takes around 30 minutes on average.

Parasailing

Flying on a parasail behind a speedboat over the glassy water gives you unforgettable thrills, a sense of freedom and breathtaking views of the coastline from above. A standard flight in Sharm El Sheikh lasts 4–6 minutes. Before you begin, the instructor gives a detailed briefing and fits you with a life jacket for your safety. If you wish, the instructor can lower you closer to the water during the flight.

Are there weight and age limits?+

The maximum weight per participant is 140 kg. The minimum age is 7. Children under 14 can only fly together with an adult (the tandem option).

What's the difference between single and tandem?+

Single is a solo flight — one person on the parasail. Tandem is a flight for two on the same parasail, ideal for couples, friends or a parent with a child. The combined weight of the two participants must not exceed 140 kg.

Is it safe?+

Yes. All equipment is serviced regularly. Before the flight the instructor gives a briefing and fits you with a life jacket. The safety harness system is certified to international standards.

What if the weather is bad?+

In the event of unfavourable weather (strong wind, storm) the tour is rescheduled to another day or fully refunded. Your safety is our priority.

Can I take photos and video?+

You're welcome to bring an action camera (GoPro and similar). Professional photography by a photographer is available for an extra fee on site. Holding your phone during the flight is not recommended for safety reasons.

Will I get wet during the flight?+

If you wish, the instructor can lower you closer to the water so your feet lightly touch the surface of the sea. This is called a "dip" and is included in the programme on request. Bring a towel and a spare swimsuit.
