Do I need an Egyptian visa?+
Yes, a valid Egyptian visa is required to visit Cairo. If you did not arrange it on arrival, we can help you obtain it before the tour for £35 per passport. This service is not available for citizens of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
How long is the drive to Cairo?+
The journey takes approximately 8 hours (around 500 km) via the new highway. Travel is by air-conditioned coach with toilet facilities, and the group travels in a convoy. Rest stops are included along the way.
Is entry inside the pyramids included?+
No, entry inside the Great Pyramid is not included. Tickets cost approximately 1,500 EGP and can be purchased on site if you wish.
Can I book a private Cairo tour?+
Yes, private tours are available. You will travel in a private car or minibus with a specialist guide. The itinerary can be customised. Please contact us via WhatsApp for details.
What should I bring?+
Please bring your passport, a breakfast box from your hotel, water, comfortable clothing and shoes, and cash for personal expenses such as the Nile cruise, camel ride, or souvenirs.
Is the tour suitable for children?+
Yes, children can join the Cairo tour. However, please note it is a long travel day (around 16 hours total including return).
What time do we return to Sharm El Sheikh?+
Return is usually after midnight, depending on traffic and group timing.
Is the Nile cruise included?+
No, the Nile cruise is optional and costs approximately £10 per person.
Is food included during the trip?+
Yes, a buffet lunch is included. We also recommend bringing snacks or a breakfast box for the early departure.
